Keep America Beautiful Cigarette Litter Prevention Grant Program

The Cigarette Litter Prevention Program (CLPP), now in its 17th year, is the nation's largest program aimed at reducing cigarette litter. Communities implementing a Cigarette Litter Prevention Program, consistently cut cigarette litter by half based on local measurements taken in the first four months to six months after a program implementation. Since its inception, the program has been implemented in more than 1,700 U.S. communities.

The 2019 Cigarette Litter Prevention Program (CLPP) will provide applicants the opportunity to apply for additional funding aimed to reduce the amount of cigarette litter in waterways and oceanic communities. Deadline is April 10, 2019.
