WHAT WE DO
Keep America Beautiful combines education with hands-on stewardship to make America's communities cleaner, greener, safer, and more livable. KAB programs activate millions of volunteers each year in hands-on community improvement activities, where they learn how to take personal responsibility for improving their local community environments.
Our work "on the ground" is carried out by a national network of over 1,000 certified affiliates and participating organizations. Each of these organizations address local challenges by engaging and inspiring community stewardship in three focus areas — litter prevention, recycling and waste reduction, and beautification and community greening.
Keep America Beautiful provides its network with national programs, public awareness campaigns, and educational materials that can be used by our affiliates to benefit their local communities.
