Keep America Beautiful

Volunteer Spotlight

James Rouhan
Keep Sevier Beautiful
Pigeon Forge, TN

Jim serves on our beautification Committee and consistently identifies locations within the County that could benefit from beautification projects. To date, he has identified, created and lead a group of volunteers to beautify our Senior Center, the adult school, community gardens, alumni football field, and an arboretum for the Sevierville primary school.

During these beautification projects, he not only leads volunteers, but he takes the time to teach them how to plant trees properly. His passion for trees is evident and contagious to anyone around him.

Jim has a love of trees and wants to share his love with kids and the community. He has volunteered countless hours leading walks through the City's arboretum and teaching lessons for our affiliate's Meet Us in the Garden education classes.

Not only does he volunteer, but he always brings tree saplings that he has grown to give away as a thank you to the children after they volunteer.

Keep America Beautiful has a strong national network of affiliates and partners that work with millions of volunteers who take action in their communities.
