Homepage_KABbelieves
that each of us holds an obligation to preserve and protect our environment. Through our everyday choices and actions, we collectively have a huge impact on our world. It's really a simple concept, but one with far reaching effects.

Keep America Beautiful follows a practical approach that unites citizens, businesses and government to find solutions that advance our core issues of preventing litter, reducing waste, and beautifying communities.

The diverse American landscape consists of many different "community environments," each with their own interconnected needs and challenges. With a national network of nearly 1000 local affiliates and participating organizations, we combine education with hands-on stewardship to address the needs of communities on an intensely local and effective level.

RecycleMania logo

RecycleMania, Collegiate Recycling Competition, Kicks Off
RecycleMania is a competition between colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada that encourages students and staff alike to take pride in their recycling efforts … and show up their rival colleges in the process. For 10 weeks each spring, colleges report their recycling and trash weights and are in turn included in a continually updated online ranking. By framing recycling and waste reduction as a competition, RecycleMania provides college recycling managers with a tool to engage students for whom environmental messages do not automatically resonate. RecycleMania is independently owned and governed by the RecycleMania Steering Committee. KAB is proud to be a sponsor and program manager of RecycleMania in conjunction with the EPA WasteWise program. For more information, visit recyclemaniacs.org.
