TIPS FOR SUBMISSION SUCCESS:

  • WATCH YOUR FILE SIZE! No one file size should be larger than 1MB! The ideal application is one document (either Word doc or PDF) with pictures embedded within the document. Click here for a sample application

  • Put your affiliate/organization name and what award you are applying for in the upload email subject line. The more information you include, the better, i.e.. "Keep Bangor Beautiful, ME, Affiliate Award – previously recognized category"

  • Plan and prepare, don’t rush. Give yourself enough time (2-3 weeks if possible) to prepare the award application.

  • Will you be able to meet the due date(s)?

  • Who in your organization is best suited to effectively write the executive summary?

  • Arrange with colleagues, department heads or mentors to review a first draft to make sure you are on the mark.
